Tips to Finish the Challenge

  • Start in reverse! Save $52 in week one when motivation is high, and $1 at the end of the year around the holidays.
  • Set up an automatic weekly transfer so you never have to remember.
  • Keep the chart somewhere you will see it every day, like the fridge.
  • Write down what you are saving for. A clear goal makes it easier to stick with it.

How to Use the Savings Challenge

Each week, put the deposit amount into savings and check the box on the chart. The Total column shows how much you have saved so far.

Prefer something more visual? Color in one circle on the Color-In Savings Tracker each week until every circle is filled.

How to Make Your Printables Last

Want to use these again and again? Print them on sturdy cardstock and run them through a laminator, or slip each page into a clear sheet protector. Then use dry-erase markers and simply wipe them clean when you are done.
