Meal Planning Tips That Actually Work
- Plan on the same day every week, like Sunday afternoon.
- Check your fridge and pantry first and use what you already have.
- Repeat favorites! Taco Tuesday and leftover night make planning so much easier.
- Cook once, eat twice: make extra and plan leftovers for lunch.
How to Use Your Meal Planner
Fill in your meals for the week, then go through each one and add the ingredients you need to the grocery list, sorted by store section.
Keep the Meal Ideas page in a binder or on the fridge. When you are out of ideas, pick something from your Family Favorites list.
How to Make Your Printables Last
Want to use these again and again? Print them on sturdy cardstock and run them through a laminator, or slip each page into a clear sheet protector. Then use dry-erase markers and simply wipe them clean when you are done.
