Tips to Keep It Easy

  • Slip the pages into a sheet protector and use a dry-erase marker to reuse them every week.
  • Do a 15-minute tidy every evening so the weekly list never feels huge.
  • Split the deep clean list across the month: 2 or 3 tasks each weekend.
  • Put on a favorite playlist or podcast. Cleaning goes so much faster!

How do you use a weekly cleaning checklist?

Pick one or two rooms a day using the 7-day schedule, so no single day feels overwhelming. Check off each task as you go, and you will be surprised how tidy the house stays with just 15 to 20 minutes a day.

Once a month, grab the deep clean list for the bigger jobs like baseboards, the fridge and the oven. Hang the pages on the fridge or inside a cabinet door so they are always in sight.

How to Make Your Printables Last Year After Year

Want to use these checklist again and again? Print them on sturdy cardstock and run them through a laminator, or slip each page into a clear sheet protector. Then use dry-erase markers and simply wipe them clean when you are done. Store them in a folder or binder and they will be ready to go next time!
